The Quality of Life - Small Grants Scheme is aimed at encouraging voluntary organisations to implement in practice, projects and initiatives, with the aim of improving the quality of life within our communities.
QUALITY OF LIFE – SMALL GRANTS SCHEME 2022
1. Aim
The Ministry for Inclusion, Social Wellbeing and Voluntary Organisations is launching a small grants Scheme, aimed at encouraging voluntary organisations to implement in practice projects and initiatives with the aim of improving the quality of life within our communities.
2. Eligible Applicants
Voluntary Organisations registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations, by the closing date for this Scheme, provided that all their filings with the Commissioner are up to date by said closing date
3.
Possible Projects and Initiatives
Improving quality
of life through initiatives aimed at:
i.
enhancing the environment around us
ii.
organizing social activities in our community
iii.
promoting physical activity in our community
iv.
promoting activities that improve our quality of life in
our community
v.
reduction of social inequalities
vi.
further inclusion in leisure, culture or sports
activities
vii.
encouraging further involvement and inclusion of end
beneficiaries, particularly persons in situations of vulnerability, in voluntary
work
viii.
providing services and support to persons finding
themselves in situations of vulnerability
ix.
inclusion and participation of persons with disability in
the community
x.
providing tailored education and training to staff and
external beneficiaries in line with the areas covered by this scheme
xi.
promoting the use of technology as a means towards
inclusion
xii.
actively supporting skills development, and the
engagement and empowerment of communities
xiii.
reintegration of victims of gender-based violence
xiv.
advocacy, outreach and networking efforts in line with
the areas covered by this scheme
xv. research in line with the areas covered by this scheme
Application Form, Submission and Queries
Hard copy application forms are also available from the Ministry for Inclusion, Social Wellbeing and Voluntary Organisations, 89, Sir Ugo Mifsud Street, Lija LJA 1056.
Applications that do not follow these Guidelines, or which lack information requested on the Application Form, shall be rejected.
Applications are to be submitted online and must be received by 7th March, 2022. Late Applications will be automatically rejected.
