Be Active Scheme

The Be Active scheme is part of the Aġenzija Żgħażagħ’s grant aid to youth groups. The primary objective of this scheme is for Aġenzija Żgħażagħ to continue to help youth groups to learn, develop, plan, implement and evaluate initiatives. Be Active provides organizations or youth groups with financial assistance to develop projects and initiatives for those who use their services and the wider community.
Organisations
and groups are invited to develop a project related to a number of priority
topics. Youth groups are given support throughout the implementation of the
initiative. However, the initiative must be designed and developed by the group
itself. Financial assistance for each initiative is granted up to a maximum of €4,000.
The
proposals for this scheme are selected according to a number of criteria
including;
- Relevance to the theme/s indicated on
the proposal
- Coherency and flow of proposal
- The active participation of young
people
- Impact, Multiplier effect and Follow up
- Visibility
- Link to the National Youth Policy
- Realistic Budget
