The Gozo VO Scheme, an initiative by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, aims to enhance the capabilities, capacity and service offerings of Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations. This scheme provides financial support for initiatives that benefit the Gozitan community, encompassing a wide range of actions and activities
The objectives of the Gozo VO Scheme:
- To support the outstanding contributions of Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations within the Gozitan society.
- To improve the capacity, capabilities, and service provision of Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations.
- To foster and encourage a culture of volunteering and participation in the activities of Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations.
- To stimulate the development and promotion of programmes, initiatives, and activities by Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations.
- To enhance cooperation between Gozo-based Voluntary Organisations and the Ministry for Gozo and Planning.
The maximum amount of financial assistance to implement any initiative will not exceed five thousand euro (€5000).
